Here is another big leap in the coverage of cities by City Infoline. Thanks to the continuous support of the City Infoline users and contributors, we are proud to announce the introduction of cities outside India as well. To start with we now cover Seattle, Issaquah, Burien, Kent, Covington, Redmond, Renton, Edmonds, Tukwila, Shoreline, Auburn, Lynnwood, Kirkland, Snoqualmie all in the U.S.A, making the total number of business listings, roundups, places of interest put together to 81,516. And the count is still growing….

This coverage of other International cities makes us now cityinfoline.inTernational. And another new feature is the introduction of maps in the listings (based on the latitude and longitude).

City Infoline constantly strives to expand its coverage to more Indian cities and as part of it we are proud to announce the addition of a new city Vizag (Visakhapatnam) in the state of Andhra Pradesh. With this we have a total of 45 Indian cities covered and also increased the number of Places of Interest covered for each city. As on today we have a total of 80,041 posts which includes all the business listings, roundups , places of interest for each of the cities covered.

The total subscriber base has increased to 1260 now and still counting. Keep checking this space for more updates….

The theme of City Infoline has been changed again. In the new avatar you would see featured listings, roundups in addition to the existing features like search box, business listings, list of cities, etc. Do have a look at the new theme and provide your valuable feedback.

And an update on the number of listings at the time of writing this post is that we currently have 78,794 businesses covering a total of 43 Indian cities. More updates coming soon……..

Registering on City Infoline is pretty easy. Click the following link to go to the registration page or just copy & paste the following url http://www.cityinfoline.in/wp-login.php?action=register in your browser.

Type in your desired username and your active email address. The email address is used to send your password to you and also any notifications that you subscribe to. Once registered you can start contributing to City Infoline by adding new business listings, correcting the existing listings and also by spreading the word among your friends.

A new contest by the name Activa is currently running on City Infoline. Most active users can win prizes every month. Its very simple to win the prizes:

1. Register on City Infoline. (How?)
2. Suggest new merchants.
3. Review existing merchants.
4. Suggest corrections.
5. Invite friends.

Prizes include USB drives, T-shirts, coffee mugs and many more each month. And the grand prize to be won is an Apple iPhone 3G. So, hurry up and grab the prizes.

The count is increasing at a faster pace and its Delhi’s turn now. The number of business listings of Delhi has crossed the first 10,000 mark. As of now the total listings of Delhi are 13,917 and the total number of business listings in City Infoline are 61,624 covering 44 Indian cities.

City Infoline has reached another milestone with the number of business listings of Kanpur city crossing 10,000. Currently we have got a total of 10,008 listings for Kanpur city alone and the total count has reached 40,773 listings covering 43 cities of India.

The theme of City Infoline has been modified slightly now. The home page now has got a search box with title search feature and also displays the list of cities that have been covered till now. Also each of the city specific pages will now have a search box and a link to all the business listings of the page. And in the upcoming features, roundups for each city are going to be added soon for all the cities.

And as mentioned in the previous post, the number of listings are increasing day-by-day and the current count is 35,784 listings and still going. Keep checking this space for more updates.

City Infoline team is happy to announce that our database of business listings has crossed the first 25,000 mark. At the time of writing this post, we have got a total of 26,454 business listings covering a total of 42 Indian cities. The highest number of business listings being from Kanpur city. We are rapidly increasing our coverage to other cities as well and looking ahead to touch the 100,000 mark soon. Congrats to the team on reaching this level within such a short period.
